The simple reason that makes it difficult for a painter to talk about his work is that it is his work that is meant to do the talking in the first place.

 As a work progresses the artist senses that it has taken on a life of its own and from there on, he just helps it along. The result can be either murky or crystal clear depending on how well the artist balances his act. Craft, obviously, plays an important role in getting it right.

Broadly speaking, I would describe my work as realistic, but with expressionist shades. I feel that my renditions vary in line with the dictates of the concept itself

No two viewers will have the same response to any work. The vibes at both ends will either harmonize or not - for unfathomable reasons, no doubt.
