With Islamic manuscripts as my inspiration I am trying to create workings for a more equal society. With the use of a circle and a square and pattern making through an archetype, I’m saying that men and women are unique in their own ways and compliment each other and thus should be treated as equals unlike the scientific myth stating that men have a larger brain than women. There is a process to all of us and to everything , a piece of metal goes through a process to deteriorate and every piece deteriorates differently .At every stage it has different feel , a different look and so we should appreciate it at every level for what it is at that point. Similarly each one of us should be appreciated for what we are, how we think, how we function, as it is always different from the other. It is the process that needs to be appreciated rather than the output as in the end everything ends into nothing.
