 Artist Statement:

Having worked with photographs for a long time, I started questioning the notion of photography, which I later discovered is unquestionable.  In the age of abundance of images, my eye found liberation from general limitations of form. I started using the medium as my subject, or at least paternal to the subject.
I'm interested in exploring the reality of an image with respect to a certain time and space, which has led me to multiple directions.
In my recent works, I'm using images as sculpture.
In the new media age, where images surround us, where we cannot see an image as it is, where it is affected by numerous other visuals, what do we take out of an image? Or what does it demand to be taken, if it does?
